Firemen's Appreciation Dinner was a Big Success!

On September 3, 2008 the residents of Limpia Crossing hosted a dinner for the Fort Davis Volunteer Fire Department, along with a few firemen from the DMR. According Kelly Bryant, Fire Chief, approximately 36 Firemen and EMT's were in attendance.

With the help of many people, we provided B-B-Q Brisket, Ribs, Ham, Sausage, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Beans, Salad, Homemade Bread and Butter, a big variety of Desserts, Tea, Water, and Sodas. There was plenty of food for all.

The Limpia Crossing Residents in attendance were able to express their gratitude to the firemen and acknowledge their hard work to save our community homes. Additionally, the Firemen expressed their appreciation of the dinner.

This community project was well worth our combined efforts, so thank you to everyone who helped to make this dinner a really nice success.
